The primary goal of the Cat Care Society is a sustained effort to reduce the current serious overpopulation of cats through a comprehensive scheme of low-cost de-sexing. We promote community awareness of responsible cat ownership, foster and adoption programs for rescued cats, education around animal welfare laws, and partnerships with local vets and councils.
We provide affordable spay and neuter services to help reduce cat overpopulation in Queensland communities.
Our network of volunteers provides temporary homes and care for cats waiting for their forever families.
We carefully match rescued cats with loving homes, ensuring the best fit for both the animal and adopter.
We promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare through community workshops and school programs.
Cat Care Society is a registered charity under the ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission). All of our services are offered for the public benefit and are supported by volunteers and donations only.
